Oily Hair: Tips & Effective Home Remedies Against it

It would also help not to brush your hair as often – this will pull the sebum and sweat down into the ends of your hair. You should also keep your hairbrush or comb clean at all times. It would be a good idea to do without the straightening iron and curling iron for a while, because the high temperature also stimulates the production of sebum. Last but not least, don’t play with your hair and run your fingers through it frequently to keep it from looking dirtier and oily.

TREAT OILY HAIR – APPLE VINEGAR

Apple cider vinegar can also be used to successfully combat the problem. The acidic rinse made from water and apple cider vinegar is one of the most effective remedies for oily hair. You are only supposed to rinse your hair with it after you wash it. The vinegar smell will disappear after about 30 minutes.

CHAMOMILE TEA CALMS THE SCALP

LEMON JUICE REGULATES THE PH VALUE

Lemon juice provides the scalp with vitamins and minerals that will improve your condition. Citric acid also affects the pH of the scalp and in this way controls sebum production. You can mix the juice of 2 lemons with 1 tablespoon of honey and 150 ml of water, apply it to the hair and rinse off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.

BAKING POWDER CAN WORK REAL MIRACLES

Baking soda is also very effective on oily hair. Mix 1 tablespoon of this with 2 tablespoons of water and apply the resulting pasta to your hair. After about 10 minutes, you can rinse off the paste with warm water.
